Our publishing philosophy

A leader in our field: we’ll do it—what is it?

WHH Publishing helps organisations in the public and private sectors to prepare and present information to their audiences and—through good communication strategies—provide excellent service to their clients.

Our extensive experience in the public sector over the past 20 years makes us a leader in publishing documents about public policies and programs.

We are expert in helping organisations to

  • reach out more effectively to their key audiences
  • keep their staff well informed of policy, program and organisational changes so that programs are delivered to clients more efficiently
  • provide clearer information to decision-makers for accountability.

We are committed to producing publications that meet the highest standards of accuracy, useability and quality—whether small or large, in print or online.

We offer an integrated in-house team to provide an efficient end-to-end publishing capacity (with the exception of printing, which we outsource to our trusted business partners). Our highly experienced core staff includes two editors, a graphic designer, electronic publishing expert, and a production manager. One of our editors is a former senior executive with the Australian Public Service with significant policy experience.

Our editors are thoroughly familiar with the Style manual (6th edition) and skilled at adapting as needed to in-house style guides. We abide by the Australian Standards for Editorial Practice.

WHH stays at the leading edge of publishing technologies. We are local pioneers in single source publishing, where both print and online versions are produced more cheaply and efficiently from a single file.

We have forged successful, longstanding business partnerships with printers who can provide state of the art print-on-demand and distribution services. We strive to produce print and electronic publications in the most efficient and cost-effective ways, with an emphasis on achieving value for money for the client.
