In a significant advance on traditional publishing methods, SSP offers:

reduced lead times in producing parallel print, web and CD versions of publications
improved risk management and reduced costs for verification of the parallel versions
significant savings in authoring, editing and production costs.

The SSP process involves

detailed initial planning of the whole project by your authoring team and key people from editorial, design and production areas
parallel development of writing and/or editing and design
‘information architecture’ for print and HTML versions in software that has advanced import and export features
import of text from author files in Word into a single master document
insertion of instructions for both print and HTML outputs, linking the text to the information architecture in ways that allow both to be produced simultaneously.
