The Australian National Privacy Principles apply to Wilton Hanford Hanover (WHH). We respect your privacy rights and are committed to protecting your personal information in accord with the Privacy Principles, and in other ways that are appropriate to our relationship with you.

Scope of business relationships covered by this statement

We may collect and store personal information about you if you deal with us as –

  • someone requesting services or goods, or administering a head contract for goods or services;
  • someone supplying services or goods;
  • a principal, employee or agent of a prospective or current business ally or member of a consortium;
  • a collaborator in a research or development project;
  • a party to a public consultation;
  • a respondent to a quantitative or qualitative research project;
  • a participant in a learning program;

Directors or officers of WHH may authorise provision of your personal information to our lawyers, accountants or other advisers if this is necessary to comply with their statutory responsibilities to the business. We may require some information from you under Australian law, and we must and will make any disclosures compelled by law.

Ordinary commercial relationships and marketing communications

If you are associated with a client, supplier, prospective or current business ally, research collaboration or a contact for exchange of information, we may use your personal information to keep you informed about our services or those of our subsidiary, parent or related entities or business partners or allies. This type of communication is known as direct marketing. You can inform us if you do not wish to receive this type of communication by contacting us at info@whh.com.au.

Consulted parties, research respondents and learning program participants

If you are a party to a public consultation, respondent to a research project or a participant in a learning program, we do not use your personal information for direct marketing communications unless you indicate that you wish to receive such information from us.

As a party to a public consultation, respondent to a research project or participant in a learning program, you are entitled to the protections outlined in this statement when you enter the relationship with us; and any additional protections set out in writing in your invitation to participate in those activities or statement provided to participants in a learning program.

Assumption of consent

By entering into any business relationship with us, we will assume you have consented to the above uses of personal information.
