Jaana Smith, Typesetter
Jaana Smith has worked as a typesetter and desktop publishing specialist in the Canberra publishing industry for two decades. Before joining WHH in 2007, she worked in the Australian Taxation Office and with a large Canberra design firm for five years. She was a valued member of Les Brown’s team at Brown & Co for many years.Jaana’s calm and highly professional manner makes her a delight to work with, especially at the page proof stage of a publishing project, when clients are typically working to tight deadlines and are under significant pressure. She is also a master Word templater who adds value in setting up projects which involve many authors.
