About WHH

Who are we?

Wilton Hanford Hanover (WHH) is an independent Australian company based in Canberra. It was founded in 1996 by Virginia Wilton and Bruce Hanford, the two executive directors.

The company provides specialist professional services to Australian government, business and non-government organisations, including statutory authorities, public companies, universities, and think tanks.

We are specialists in the public policy arena. We have extensive experience in foreign affairs and trade, natural resource management, community services, health and ageing, the arts, defence, public sector accountability and more. We provide management consulting, change management, advice about information dissemination, and publishing services in a continuum of professional services.

We are a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) with Australian Government Endorsed Supplier status in the information management field.

WHH has two divisions:

WHH Learning and Growth, managed by Bruce Hanford

WHH Publishing, managed by Virginia Wilton

WHH has nine core staff who, together with the directors, sit in a large open-plan office, where they can share information and back-stop each other professionally (see our people). While each staff member has specialist expertise, we all provide customer service and we all make sure that client needs are addressed quickly.

WHH Learning and Growth has an extensive network of eminent consultant advisers from around Australia, who work with us to deliver high-order business analysis, change management and organisational learning services.

WHH Publishing has a network of around 130 writers, researchers, editors, designers, proofreaders and printers—in Australia and overseas—whom we engage as needed.

We take great pride in our ethical approach to clients, business partners and employees. We handle confidential information scrupulously; a senior member of the team has a current Australian Government Top Secret security clearance. We maintain a transparent approach to our pricing and production arrangements. And we produce high-end, quality results within budget and on time.

Our motto is we’ll do it—what is it?

WHH staff love the business we’re in—and it shows in the results we deliver.
